Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras, regarding the news published in the media about a possible offer of preferred shares of Braskem in the first quarter of 2022, clarifies that, as disclosed on June 8, August 9, 20 and 30, October 1, November 22 and 26, its stake in Braskem is still part of the assets contemplated in its portfolio management.
Petrobras maintains its position of seeking the full sale of its stake in Braskem and continues to conduct studies to determine the best structure for this transaction.
The company reaffirms that there is still no decision on the matter, including a deadline for a possible transaction.
