(PetroNoticias) Petrobras is advancing again in yet another stage in the development of the Búzios field. On the 9th of August, the company will open the envelopes with proposals for the tender for contracting well construction services for the field. The tender will have national coverage and will consist of two excluding lots.
The tender is related to the project for the development of production modules 6, 7 and 8 in the Búzios field – namely, the FPSOs Almirante Tamandaré, P-78 and P-79. The drilling of wells in the region aims to reach carbonate reservoirs in the pre-salt, with the construction of wells with a vertical depth of around 5,800 meters. The basic well drilling project for these three modules will have different configurations, depending on whether the well is a producer or an injector.
The activities that are being contracted by Petrobras include profiling and cannoning services, fluid services, cementing services, coating handling and laying services, drilling, among others. The complete bidding documentation (nº 7003477039) is available on the Petronect website.
Still talking about the Búzios field, as we reported earlier, SBM announced that it has signed the contract for the construction, operation and charter of the FPSO Almirante Tamandaré, the sixth production unit in the area. The platform will have the capacity to process 225,000 barrels of oil per day and 12 million cubic meters of natural gas per day.
