Omni Táxi Aéreo, a leader in the Offshore transport segment, continues to support Petrobras’ logistics operations and has just signed another 12 contracts with the company for the offshore transport of passengers and small cargo. The contracts were the subject of a bidding process carried out in September 2020 to update the existing fleet. Operations are scheduled for the second half of 2021.
The recently contracted aircraft of the models AW139, AW189 and H175 (medium and super medium) will carry out flights in response to the passenger logistics of the Campos and Santos basins, from the Jacarepaguá, Cabo Frio and Macaé airports, reinforcing the Omni’s presence in these locations.
With these new contracts, Omni will have a fleet of about 50 medium, super medium and large helicopters, being the largest operator of AW139 aircraft in Latin America and the only air taxi company to operate “super” type aircraft. medium “in Brazil.
