OMNI EXPANDS ITS HELICOPTER FLEET TO SHUTTLE PASSENGERS TO THE PRE-SALT PLATFORMS

Omni Táxi Aéreo has just expanded its fleet of helicopters used to transport workers in the oil and gas sector. The company acquired yet another AW139 model aircraft, made by Italian Leonardo. The model is super medium sized and capable of flying to the most distant platforms of the pre-salt, carrying up to 12 passengers.

“The arrival in Brazil of the first AW139 of a group expected to compose our fleet in 2021, represents the consolidation of our market share in the Medium-sized aircraft category and will allow us to serve a greater number of customers with comfort, safety and agility, ”said the Director of Omni Táxi Aéreo, Roberto Coimbra.

Currently, Omni’s fleet of aircraft serves a group of oil companies, such as Petrobrás, Total, ExxonMobil and Karoon, which have exploration and production assets in the Campos and Santos Basins.
