The bidding for Wet Christmas Trees, which Petrobras has not done since 2014, when Operation Lava Jato started, was postponed again to November 30, at the request of the participants themselves. There is great expectation from the companies that produce this equipment because it will be a big purchase: there will be 53 sets for the pre-salt and 17 units for electro-hydraulic distribution. The bidding is divided into two blocks. Petrobras will acquire up to 32 sets of Christmas trees and 10 distribution units in lot 1. In lot 2, there will be 21 sets of Christmas trees and seven Distribution Units. The companies will have to carry out the installation and provide assistance and maintenance services, providing the necessary tools for the installation, control cabins, connectors and control systems. A single company cannot win both lots.
