An extra time for competitors who wish to participate in Petrobras’ mega tender to contract more than 560 km of flexible risers. The Brazilian state-owned company decided to postpone the date for opening envelopes to January 6 of next year. Previously, the deadline was set for October 2.
As we reported, the tender aims to contract up to 566.4 km of flexible pipelines. The tender is divided into two lots. The first, which provides for the supply of up to 340 km of flexible pipelines, has a gross budget of R$ 4.047 billion. The second batch, involving 226.4 km of lines, has a gross budget of R$ 2.775 billion.
The winner of the tender will also supply accessories and freight, reel rental, flexible pipe storage and loading services and technical support, installation and assembly services. The announcement and all the complementary bidding documentation is available on the Petronect website.
