Only auction of oil and gas exploration and production areas of the year, the second cycle of the Permanent Offer already has a date scheduled. The Special Bidding Commission of the National Petroleum Agency (ANP) scheduled the bidding for December 3.
The decision came after the commission approved a declaration of sectors of interest, accompanied by a guarantee of supply. Companies that have not yet registered will have until the next 21st to complete the registration form and send the necessary documentation. To date, there are 57 companies registered.
The disclosure of the sectors on offer in the second cycle of the Permanent Offer will take place on November 3. The full schedule of the round is available on the ANP website.
In this auction mode, the agency continuously makes available exploratory blocks and areas with marginal accumulations located in any land or sea basins, with the exception of the blocks of the pre-salt polygon, strategic areas or the Continental Platform in addition to the 200 nautical miles, as well as those authorized to compose the 17th and 18th Bidding Round. When the ANP Bidding Committee approves the declarations of sectors of interest made by the companies, a cycle of the Permanent Offer begins.
