Petrobras is going to the market to charter support vessels for its operations in offshore fields. The state-owned company recently launched three tenders, which are linked to each other, for chartering vessels used to combat oil spills (known by the acronym OSRV).
The period for submission of proposals started this week, but the tender will only be open to suppliers who participated in a pre-qualification announced in June in the Federal Official Gazette. The date for opening the proposals for the three opportunities is set for September 15th. .
The vessels being requested by Petrobras are of the type OSRV 750 and OSRV 66 – that is, which have a recovered oil capacity of 750 m³ and 66 m³, respectively. The vessels should be available to Petrobras next year. The notices for the three tenderss (7003198831, 7003205939 and 7003205940) are now available on the Petronect platform.
