Shell plans seismic on Saturno

Oil company is hiring data acquisition company to carry out the activity in the Santos Basin

Shell submitted a 3D seismic research project to Ibama to obtain exclusive data on the Saturno block, in the Santos Basin. The campaign will last 180 days and is scheduled for July 2021. The work will be carried out by a data acquisition company (EAD) whose contracting is in progress.

Carried out at a minimum distance of 144 km from the coast of Cabo Frio (RJ) and at a minimum water depth of 1,800 m, the campaign will use three vessels, in addition to the seismic vessel, for launching and collecting nodes, assistance and support .
