Pre-Sal Petróleo (PPSA), which is responsible for representing the Union in the production sharing agreements, has signed with Petrobras an agreement for the commercialization of the gas production of the Union of Southwest Tartaruga Verde Field.
The agreement will be effective from January 1 to December 31, 2020 and provides that the Union will be remunerated monthly for the volume of gas delivered in the period. The Southwest Tartaruga Verde Field is 100% owned by Petrobras.
PPSA noted that this is the third contract signed for the purchase and sale of natural gas between Pre-Sal Petróleo and Petrobras.
In June 2018, contracts were signed for the Campos de Lula and Entorno de Sapinhoá. These contracts were renewed in December 2018 and will be effective until December 2020.
Separately, PPSA reported that between December 20 and 22 it carried out the loading of the first portion of the Union’s oil from Entorno de Sapinhoá, located in the Santos Basin and operated by Petrobras with partners Shell and Repsol Sinopec, 630 thousand barrels.
In the case of oil, the cargo was sold by Pre-Salt Petroleum at an auction held at B3 in August 2018.
