PETRORIO CHANGES IN SENIOR MANAGEMENT POSITIONS

Petro Rio S.A. (“Company” or “PetroRio”) (B3: PRIO3), in compliance with article 157 of Law 6404/1976, CVM Instruction 358/2002, and article 26 of the Novo Mercado Regulation, announces to its shareholders and the market in that Mr. Nelson Sequeiros Rodriguez Tanure has resigned from his position as member of the Board of Directors, for personal reasons.

At the meeting held on November 13, 2019, the Board of Directors accepted Mr. Nelson Sequeiros Rodriguez Tanure resignation, having Mr. Nelson Tanure retired from his duties as Director of the Company. On the same occasion, the Board of Directors elected Mr. Emiliano Fernandes Lourenço Gomes for the position, as Director.

Emiliano Gomes, who holds the position of Legal, Regulatory and Management Director, joined the Company in 2015 and actively participated in the turnaround process. Before joining PetroRio, Mr. Gomes held positions at several companies such as Vesper, Docas Investimentos, Globo.com and Intelig, where he was Legal and Regulatory Director.

The Company’s management thanks Mr. Nelson Tanure for the relevant services provided to the Company as member of the Board of Directors and wishes Mr. Emiliano Gomes good luck on his new role.
