Eneva identified evidence of oil and gas during the drilling of well 4-ENV-6-MA in the Fazenda Tianguar discovery area. The company had already found gas fluids last month at the well, located in block PN-T-48, in the Parnaíba Basin.
The company said the volumes and eventual savings of accumulation will be determined following a seismic acquisition and drilling campaign, both expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2019, lasting one year.
The PN-T-48 PAD is due to expire on October 4th.
Gas fluids
Eneva also found gas fluids in well 1-ENV-7A-MA in block PN-T-69 in the same basin.
The first exploratory period of the PN-T-69 expires on December 23 this year, while its second exploratory period expires on the same date in 2021.
Eneva has a 100% stake in 15 blocks and seven fields in the Parnaíba Basin. In addition, the company operates the Azulão field in the Amazon Basin.
