The Agency (ANP) approved the Petrobras sale of Carapeba, Pargo and Vermelho fields, in the Campos Basin to Perenco.
The deal, signed in November last year, was closed for $ 370 million, with 20% ($ 74 million) paid at the time. The remainder will be paid upon closing of the transaction, considering the adjustments due.
Companies will have to present to the ANP a transition plan of operations.
Carapeba, Pargo and Vermelho make up the Polo Nordeste Cluster in shallow waters off the coast of Rio de Janeiro State. At the time the deal was announced, the concessions together produced about 9,000 barrels of oil per day.
