Rio de Janeiro, July 5, 2019 – Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras reports that it has started the opportunity disclosure stage (teaser), related to the sale of its entire working interest in Peroá and Cangoá production fields and in the concession BM-ES-21 (Malombe discovery appraisal plan), located in the Espírito Santo Basin, including the shared outflow and production offshore facilities and the onshore gas pipeline up to the Cacimbas Gas Treatment Unit (UTGC).
Petrobras holds a 100% stake in the shallow water fields of Peroá and Cangoá, whose current production is around 900,000 m3/day of non-associated gas and 88.9% stake in the exploratory block BM-ES-21 in deepwaters where is located the Malombe discovery.

The main further steps of the project will be timely informed to the market.
This disclosure is in line with the Petrobras divestment methodology and aligned with the provisions of the special procedure for the sale of exploration, development and production of oil, natural gas and other fluid hydrocarbon set forth in Decree 9,355/2018.
This transaction is in line with the optimization of the portfolio and the improvement of the company’s capital allocation, aiming at generating value for our shareholders.
