Route 2 has an expanded capacity of 20 million m³ / day of gas

The Cabiúnas 1 consortium, owner of the Rota 2 gas pipeline, was authorized to increase the capacity of the natural gas from pre-salt fields to 16 million m³ / day for the Cabiúnas processing unit in Macaé (RJ) ).

Owned by Petrobras, Shell, Petrogal and Repsol Sinopec, Rota 2 started the operation in 2016 and exports natural gas from pre-salt field platforms, the largest being the Lula field. The authorization to increase capacity was published by the ANP this Monday, July 1.
