ANP revises pre-tender of the Transfer of Rights Surplus auction and maintains schedule

The ANP changed the pre-tender of the Transfer of Rights Surplus auction, to include adjustments requested by Petrobras in the confidentiality agreement for access to the data of the fields that will be offered. The change was considered low impact and does not change the timeline of the auction.

In the surplus auction the areas are being operated by Petrobras, which will be responsible for opening additional technical data to interested companies. Usually, the round data is only offered by the ANP.

The agency will send the documents to the MME and to the TCU. The auction is scheduled for November 6. The pre-tender and draft contract are in public consultation until July 3 and the agency holds a public hearing to discuss the auction on July 5.

Petrobras asked the ANP to include a forecast of conflict resolution, if a company violates confidentiality, and the right to keep data if the company wins the bid for the areas, in addition to editorial adjustments.
