Exclusive – 16th bidding round and two pre-salt auctions with selected areas approved by ANP

ANP’s board of directors approved the areas that will be nominated to the National Energy Policy Council (CNPE) to be tendered for in the bidding round, scheduled for 2019, and in the pre-salt auctions scheduled for 2020 and 2021. With the indication of the areas, ANP equals the pre-salt auction plans with the concessions bidding, which already has bids approved for 2020 and 2021.

The 2017 concession will offer exploratory blocks in the Campos, Camamu-Almada, Jacuípe, Pernambuco-Paraíba and Santos Basins. All areas are outside the pre-salt polygon.

Pre-salt auctions

Also foreseen for 2020 and 2021, the 7th and 8^th  pre-salt rounds. It will offer the areas within the polygon of the pre-salt of the Santos Basin.
