Petrobras canceled a tender it has been promoting to contract vessels to support shallow dive (SDSV) and will launch a new bid in the next few days.
The company informed the participating ship owners that a failure made it impossible to send the proposals of some invited companies.
“Therefore, a new opportunity will open in which all the invited companies will be able to present their technical and commercial proposals again,” said the oil company in a statement obtained by Brasil Energia Petróleo.
The bid was divided into two lots, one for Brazilian vessels and another for foreign flag, with operations scheduled to take place between 2019 and 2021.
In all, 30 national SDSVs were offered by nine companies: Asso Maritime Navigation, Brasbunker, CBO, Farstad Shipping, Oceanica Engineering, Ocenpact, Sistac, Up Offshore and Wilson Sons Offshore.
Another eight foreign-flagged vessels were offered by Farstad and Belov Engineering.
