PETROBRAS CONCLUDES WELL IN THE LIBRA FIELD

 

Petrobrás completed the 3BRSA1350RJS well in the Libra field in the pre-salt  Santos Basin. The drilling activity was performed on a water depth of 2,098 meters, using the West Carina drill ship.

In September, the oil company had already notified the National Petroleum Agency (ANP) about the discovery of hydrocarbon traces in the well. The company plans to start production of the Libra field on November 15.

Recently, Petrobras also reported to the agency on oil evidence at the Marlim field at the 9MRL231DARJS well, at a water depth of 604 meters.

Finally, Petrobras has also begun drilling the 3BRSA1354RN well in the Estreito field, in the Potiguar Basin, with the drill ship Conventional 86.
