Odebrecht Oil and Gas drilling units

With the experience of being the first Brazilian private company to provide Offshore Drilling services in Brazil, and operating a semisubmersible unit anchored in water depths of more than 1,000 meters in Brazil, Odebrecht Oil and Gas informs that it continues to innovate by chartering and operate platforms with the latest technology, ensuring greater efficiency and quality, and excellence in safety, health and the environment.

Odebrecht Óleo e Gás offers services for chartering and operation of offshore drilling rigs for ultra-deep waters, as the discovery of oil in the pre-salt inaugurated a new era for the development of the oil industry in Brazil.

The Offshore Drilling fleet consists of four drill ships and three semisubmersible platforms.

NORBE VI – Semi-submersible drilling platform, latest generation, with dynamic positioning capable of operating in a water depth of up to 2,400 meters and drilling wells up to 7.5 thousand meters. The unit started operating in Brazilian waters in July 2011 and is worthy of note, as it celebrates the resumption of Odebrecht’s Offshore drilling. The unit follows a series of platforms with the same name, which were part of the Odebrecht Organization through Odebrecht Perfurações Ltda., OPL. Location: Campos Basin. Client: Petrobras.

NORBE VIII – Drilling vessel with dynamic positioning capable of operating in a water depth of up to 3,000 meters and drilling up to 10 thousand meters. Location: Santos Basin. Client: Petrobras.

NORBE IX – Drilling vessel with dynamic positioning capable of operating in a water depth of up to 3,000 meters and drilling up to 10 thousand meters. Location: Campos Basin. Client: Petrobras.

ODN I – Drilling vessel with dynamic positioning capable of operating in water depth up to 3,000 meters and drilling up to 10 thousand meters. Location: Santos Basin. Client: Petrobras. Contract: 2012 until 2022, renewable for another ten years.

ODN II – Drilling vessel with dynamic positioning capable of operating in water depth up to 3,000 meters and drilling up to 10 thousand meters. Location: Santos Basin. Client: Petrobras. Contract: 2012 until 2022, renewable for another ten years.ODN
Delba III – Semi-submersible platform with dynamic positioning capable of operating in a water depth of up to 2.4 thousand meters and drilling wells up to 7.5 thousand meters.Location: Campos Basin. Client: Petrobras. Contract: 2012 until 2019, renewable for another seven years.

ODN Tay IV – Semi-submersible platform with dynamic positioning capable of operating in a water depth of up to 2,400 meters and drilling up to 9,143 meters.

The state-of-the-art drilling units are designed to operate with the highest degree of efficiency and productivity, with safety excellence. The units are manned with teams with extensive experience in ultra-deep waters and focused on the training of labor to act in the national and international market.
