Petrobras kicked off the drilling of two wells, one offshore and another onshore. The first is located in the Campos Basin in the Marlim Sul field. The drilling is being done by the Norbe IX rig, which belongs to Odebrecht. The well, which bears the technical name of 6BRSA1349RJS, is in water depth of 1,108 meters and had its drilling started on May 28, according to data released by the National Petroleum Agency (ANP).

The other well that started to be drilled (1BRSA1348RN) is in the Potiguar Basin, in block POT-T-613. The activity is being conducted by Sonda Conventional 86. The drilling was also started at the end of last month.
