The French company Total is authorized to export oil produced in Brazil. The permit was granted this week by the National Petroleum Agency (ANP). Although Total has no production in the country, according to data provided by the ANP.
The French company owns a 22.5% share of the block BM-S-11, where the fields of Sururu, Berbigão and Oeste de Atapu are located. The company also has a 35% stake in the Lapa field, in the Santos Basin pre-salt. Total also has a stake in Libra (20%) and other blocks in the Santos Basin, Barreirinhas, Espírito Santo, Pelotas and Foz do Amazonas.
