The Navship shipyard , from Navegantes (SC), has launched another PSV for Bram Offshore. The Mr. Aldo PSV, was commissioned in January 2015 and came to receive priority from the Merchant Marine Fund in the allocation of resources.
The vessel will be chartered to Petrobrás in an eight-year contract under the Marine Support Fleet Renewal Program (Prorefam), which can be used to transport cargo, supplies, offshore support and oil prospecting units, as well as logistic support, is expected to be delivered between December of this year and January of next year.
In May of this year, the shipyard had already delivered another PSV to Bram Offshore, also for an eight-year contract with Petrobras, and the owner, who is part of the Edison Chouest group, has 14 units in operation for Petrobras. This will be the 15th.
