AQUALIS WINS OFFSHORE SERVICES CONTRACTS IN THREE PRE-SALT PLATFORMS

Norwegian engineering consultancy Aqualis Offshore was contracted by Japanese company Modec and the BrasFELS shipyard to provide services in three platform ships for the pre-salt layer.

Modec contracted Aqualis to work for the integration of the FPSO City Campos dos Goytacazes MV29 in the BrasFELS shipyard in Angra dos Reis, in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The FPSO will have capacity to process 150,000 barrels of crude oil per day.

At the same time, the BrasFELS also hired Aqualis to provide services related to P-66 and P-69, the shipyard is building for Petrobras. The values of the contracts were not disclosed.
