Frames To Provide Equipment

Frames, from the Netherlands has signed a contract with Modec to provide life saving equipment and flow control for the Petrobras FPSO Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes MV29. The equipment will be delivered later this month.

The contract includes the delivery of a package of subsea hydraulic power units, fourteen control shelves for production wells, eight injection wells and accessories.

The Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes will be installed in the the Tataruga Verde field in the Campos Basin. The FPSO will have capacity to produce up to 150,000 bopd and 176 million m³/d of gas, in addition to storing 1,600 tons of barrels of oil.
