Clarification on News: Sale of Ships
Rio de Janeiro, June 29th, 2015 – Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras complies with Official Letter n.º 204/2015/CVM/SEP/GEA-1 which requests clarification, as below:

“We referred to news released on this date, in the newspaper “Valor Online”, entitled: “Petrobras negotiates the sale of 23 ships, according to sources”, in which present the following statements:
“Petrobras negotiates the sale of 23 oil ships and liquefied petroleum gas (LGP) carriers for approximately US$ 270 million to raise cash and, then, freight some of them back between buyers, according to sources.
The sale will include some ships from Transpetro, Petrobras´ subsidiary company. The plan is aligned with other sales of vessels of mining and oil companies in South America that are interested in cutting costs.
The brokers claims that the sale is scheduled to be concluded in July.
Petrobras declined to comment on the matter.

Clarification:
As released on 03/02/2015, Petrobras approved a divestment plan of US$ 13.7 billion to 2015-2016.
With the release of 2015-2019 Business and Management Plan, on 06/29/2015, Petrobras informed the divestment amount increased to US$ 15.1 billion.
Regarding oil ships and liquefied petroleum gas (LGP) carriers belonging to Transpetro, the company informs that there is no negotiation underway.
Facts considered relevant on this matter will be timely communicated to the market.
