March 26 – Foresea has signed a long-term contract with Petrobras, valued at approximately US$465 million, for the operation of the ultra-deepwater drillship ODN I at the pre-salt Mero Field in the Santos Basin.
The contract is valid for 1,443 days (approximately 4 years). The drillingcampaign is scheduled to begin in early 2027, shortly after the end of the rig’s current contract (which operates in the Marlim field until October 2026) and the completion of preparatory maintenance. The contract includes an early termination option after 1,078 days, as well as an unpriced extension of up to 382 days, providing additional flexibility for both parties.
This contract strengthens Foresea’s order book, which already has 100% of its fleet contracted with the Brazilian state-owned company.
