OceanPact Signs Contract of Approximately R$ 500 Million with Petrobras

Dec. 23 – OceanPact, which operates in maritime support, has signed another four-year contract with Petrobras, worth approximately R$ 500 million, for the chartering of the vessel Rochedo de São Paulo.

The scope of the contract includes the handling and maintenance of offloading hoses – large hoses used in the transfer of oil between maritime units – and shuttle tankers.

The Rochedo de São Paulo is an offshore support vessel (AHTS-TO). The agreement covers operations along the Brazilian coast.

In August, the company signed four new contracts with Petrobras, totaling approximately R$ 3.2 billion, for the chartering of RSV (ROV Support Vessel) type vessels, also with a duration of four years.

In September, OceanPact announced two new contracts, totaling over R$700 million, for the execution of marine environmental monitoring services in areas under the oil company’s responsibility.

Trading shares on the B3, the Brazilian stock exchange, since 2021, OceanPact has a fleet of 28 vessels of its own to support maritime operations and also the largest inventory of offshore emergency response equipment in Latin America.
