SISTAC Renews Contract with DOF Subsea for Pipeline Maintenance and Inspection

Nov. 21 – SISTAC, a company operating in the Brazilian market for inspection, maintenance, and repair of submerged structures for the oil and gas industry, has signed a long-term contract addendum with the Norwegian company DOF Subsea for operations in the Campos, Santos, and Espírito Santo basins. The partnership guarantees the continued use of divers in the pipeline and equipment inspection contract, operating from a DOF vessel, until the end of this year, to serve Petrobras. With the renewal of the partnership in 2026, SISTAC will also mobilize the diving system on a vessel operated by DOF to execute the new pipeline and equipment inspection contract, valid until 2029.

According to SISTAC, the company will carry out underwater inspections of flexible and rigid pipelines, as well as specific inspections in riser regions (suspended sections of pipelines), in accordance with Petrobras’ rigorous standards. The company will use a complete diving system up to 50 meters, two gantries and seals. Two teams of divers will participate in the operations, following the standards of IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association), IOGP (International Oil and Gas Producers Association) and Normam 222 (Maritime Authority Standard for Underwater Activities).

SISTAC CEO Carlos Madaleno said, “We are very happy with the continuation of the partnership with DOF. We always strive to exceed customer expectations, delivering results with safety, innovation, excellence, dedication, and the specialization of the company’s professional teams generates trust from our partners.” With three decades of experience in the sector, SISTAC has bases in Macaé and Niterói, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, operating throughout the Brazilian coast.
