Oil States announced the signing of a new contract with Petrobras to provide inspection and maintenance services for cranes and cargo handling equipment on offshore platforms. The agreement will last three years and will cover units located in the Tupi, Berbigão and Atapu fields in the Santos Basin.
According to the company, the services will be performed by specialized teams with IRATA certification. The scope includes activities in mooring systems, oil transfer systems (offloading), pull-in/pull-out winches, hoists and other cargo handling equipment.
“This new achievement reinforces the technical capacity and expertise of Oil States, which in recent years has been expanding its operations with important contracts in the sector, including similar services in units located in the Campos and Espírito Santo Basins. Our commitment is to offer increasingly efficient, flexible and safe solutions, overcoming the challenges of the Brazilian energy industry with excellence,” said the company, in a statement posted on LinkedIn.
