(PN) DHC Brasil announced that it has signed five new contracts for the provision of offshore air transportation services in the Campos and Santos Basins. Scheduled to begin this year, the new five-year agreements will allow CHC to operate four more AW139s and one additional S-92A helicopters in Brazil.
“We have supported Petrobras since 1990, delivering the highest levels of operational excellence and safety. These new contracts strengthen our long-standing relationship with Petrobras and recognize the value of lasting partnerships based on sustainable contracting principles,” said Licia Rocha, CHC’s sales director for the Americas.
According to the company, two AW139 helicopters will operate from Cabo Frio Airport, supporting several fields in the Campos Basin, while the other two AW139s and the S-92A will operate from Macaé Airport, supporting the Mero Field, in the Santos Basin pre-salt layer.
“We have expanded our team to meet Brazil’s growing demand for offshore services and have taken advantage of CHC’s global network to bring in aircraft from other markets, ensuring optimal utilization of our fleet. After signing and starting all the contracts won in the recent Petrobras tender, we will end 2025 with 21 aircraft in the country, distributed across 18 contracts,” concluded Licia.
