(PN) OceanPact announced a new R$697 million contract with Petrobras, for a period of four years, for the charter of the Ilha do Mosqueiro vessel, an OTSV (Offshore Terminal Support Vessel). The vessel will be used for the maintenance of offloading hoses on platform ships (FPSO) and oil tankers (FSO), with high-capacity winches and cranes, specially designed to meet the demands of these operations.
In April of this year, OceanPact had already announced new contracts with Petrobras for the chartering of the OSRVs (Oil Spill Response Vessels) Fernando de Noronha, Jim O’Brien and Macaé, worth a total of R$650 million for readiness and emergency response in the event of environmental incidents. It also announced another contract with Petrobras, worth R$310 million, for the chartering of the Ilha de Santana vessel, a PSV (Platform Supply Vessel), which provides logistics and emergency response services.
OceanPact has a fleet of 28 vessels, consisting of OSRVs (Oil Spill Response Vessels), RSVs (ROV Support Vessels), PSVs (Platform Supply Vessels), RVs (Research Vessels), MPSVs (Multi-Purpose Support Vessels) and AHTSs (Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels). The company also holds the largest inventory of offshore emergency response equipment in Latin America.
