(TN) Posidonia, one of Brazil’s leading maritime shipping and transportation companies, recently celebrated a significant milestone by signing four major contracts with Petrobras. These agreements, which cover the operation of PSV (Platform Supply Vessel) and AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply) vessels in Rio de Janeiro, represent an important milestone for the company.
Currently, three of the vessels are already in full operation in Brazilian waters, while the fourth, named Leopard, is on its way to meet the client’s requirements. Each contract has an initial duration of four years, with the possibility of renewal for the same period. The crew is all Brazilian, which reinforces Posidonia’s commitment to valuing the national labor market.
Abrahão Salomão, CEO of Posidonia, expressed his satisfaction with this moment: “We are extremely pleased with this great achievement. We have other contracts in the signing phase, which reflects our competence, ability and dedication to understand and meet the needs of our customers, in addition to our exceptional know-how in the sector”.
A notable aspect of the vessels is the integration of advanced technology for real-time management of essential information for decision-making, including fuel management and performance. This innovation promises greater sustainability and operational efficiency.
