Oil States signs agreement to perform speciliazed services for Petrobras

(PN) Oil States signed a services contract with Petrobras to carry out operations with Dual Bore Riser Systems and peripherals, as well as planning services for operations with these systems. The four year agreement provides for completion, withdrawal and intervention services in subsea wells using a completion system linked to the Riser Dual Bore type probe, with its peripherals and accessories, enabling operations with subsea equipment tools.

“Oil States has been performing these services for Petrobras since 2017 and the new contract consolidates the expertise, professionalism, efficiency and quality of our services. Congratulations to our team for this achievement. We are ready to overcome this challenge,” said the company in a statement.

The scope of the contract will encompass the maintenance of equipment, peripherals and accessories of the Dual Bore Riser system, ensuring the integrity, functionality and availability of the systems. Oil States will also guard and preserve all equipment, which allows the formation of the Dual Bore Riser system fronts.

The company will also be responsible for developing and reviewing procedures, technical analyses, operational planning and resource management of Dual Bore Riser Systems, as well as supplying consumable inputs, materials and spare parts necessary for the assembly and usability of Dual Bore Riser Systems. .

Oil States’ offshore technical teams will be made available to carry out the activities, from monitoring the delivery on board and unloading of materials to the operation of control equipment for uninterrupted use.
