OceanPact signed a R$310 million contract with Petrobras to charter the vessel Ilha de Santana, (Platform Supply Vessel) support vessel. The charter is for four years, during which the vessel will operate to support Petrobras’ logistics and emergency response along the entire Brazilian coast.
In April, OceanPact had already announced new contracts with Petrobras for the charter of OSRVs (Oil Spill Response Vessels) Fernando de Noronha, Jim O’Brien and Macaé, totaling a value of R$650 million. These OSRVs will be used by the oil company in operations on the Brazilian coast, dedicated to emergency preparedness and response in the event of environmental incidents.
OceanPact has a fleet of 28 vessels made up of OSRVs (Oil Spill Response Vessel), RSVs (ROV Support Vessels), PSVs (Platform Supply Vessels), RVs (Research Vessels), MPSVs (Multi Purpose Support Vessels) and AHTSs (Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels). The company also has the largest inventory of equipment to combat offshore emergencies in Latin America.
