Ocyan Signs Contract with Petrobras for Maintenance on Platforms

Ocyan signed a new contract with Petrobras to provide construction and assembly services on platforms P-09, P-26, P-32, P-33 and P-37, all in the Campos Basin. The contract takes effect in early 2022 and is valid for three years, renewable for a further 640 days. Initially, more than 200 vacancies will be opened for different professionals to work on this project. Among the main activities provided for in the contract are maintenance and repair services for the units, in addition to the planning and execution of boiler, welding, painting, electrical and instrumentation services, equipment maintenance, among others.

“Winning this new contract reaffirms the positioning of our business, which for more than 20 years has been providing construction and assembly services to different clients in the oil and gas sector,” said Vinícius Castilho, Contract Director for the Maintenance and Services area. Offshore of Ocyan. “We have had important achievements in this current cycle and this contract represents another one of them, in addition to being a demonstration of Petrobras’ confidence in our work,” he added.

Earlier this year, Ocyan won another contract with Petrobras for maintenance activities and offshore services on the Merluza and Mexilhão platforms, in the Santos Basin. Castilho recalls that this has been an important year for Ocyan from the point of view of new contracts. “We are managing to position ourselves in a very competitive way in new hiring cycles. There are already two contracts won this year in the area of ​​offshore maintenance and services, in addition to the three contracts for rigs signed this year. Being an integrated service provider with solid and recognized experience in different areas of activity, entitles us to seek new achievements, as well as challenges us to seek recognition that is increasingly demanding in the market”, said the executive.

Ocyan’s Maintenance and Offshore Services business unit, since 2000, has performed more than 33 contracts, 1 million engineering hours, more than 120 production and drilling stoppages, more than 11 thousand tons of pipes and structures mounted on board the offshore facilities, more than 1 million square meters painted and 14 million meters of mounted scaffolding. In addition, the offshore maintenance and services unit has a robust management system that guarantees customers Safety, Quality and Productivity. The unit has ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHASAS 18001:2007 certifications.
