Drilling and seabed mapping activities aim to evaluate discoveries in ultra-deep waters
The ANP approved the extension of the execution period of the plans for evaluating the discoveries (PADs) of Quindim and Brigadeiro, in block ES-M-525, operated by Petrobras, in the Espírito Santo Basin.
The extension was necessary to carry out the drilling and mapping activities of the seabed of wells 1-BRSA-936D-ESS (Quindim) and 1-BRSA-926D-ESS (Brigadeiro).
The agency’s board also authorized Petrobras to collect drilling data and map the seabed between the BM-ES-23 contract area and the Golfinho field region.
