SPIC Brasil, Grupo Prumo (a company controlled by EIG Global Energy Partners) and Siemens AG sign an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) for the development of energy projects in Brazil.
The signing took place during the BRICs meeting, attended by key executives of the companies involved: SPIC – Qian Zhimin, Chairman, Adriana Waltrick, CEO, and Waldo Perez, CFO; Siemens – Lisa Davis, Member of the Board of Directors of Siemens AG; and Prumo – Blair Thomas, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of EIG Global Energy Partners.
SPIC Brasil’s contribution to this agreement is centered on its expertise in operation and project management strategy in Brazil, Siemens will contribute its technology expertise and Grupo Prumo with long-term investments. The partnership allows to expand the range of projects and gives greater confidence in the investment that may be developed.
