The second leg of the Road Show for the Bidding Round will be from June 12 to 16

 

The second leg of the road show to publicize the upcoming rounds of bids for oil and natural gas exploration and production will be held from 12 to 16/6 in Perth (Australia), Singapore and Beijing (China). The Secretary of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Renewable Fuels of the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Márcio Félix; The director general of the ANP, Décio Oddone, and the director Waldyr Barroso will present to international investors the potential of the next auctions that will be held in the country.

 

During the first leg of the road show May 15-23, in London and New York, the Agency’s Director General met with investors from different profiles and representatives of large, medium and small oil companies interested in Pre-salt areas, opportunities in shallow water, land and mature fields, as well as institutions, research entities and universities. The meetings showed that there is great interest in the oil and natural gas sector in Brazil and that investors are focused on the long term and the quality of the areas that will be offered in the bids.

 

In 2017, the 14th Round is scheduled, under the concession regime, on September 27.  The 2nd and 3rd Production Sharing Rounds on October 27.
