Rio de Janeiro, May 9, 2017 – Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras, in connection to the news published in the media, clarifies that there has been no decision on the sale model of BR Distribuidora by either its Executive Board or Board of Directors.

The company further clarifies that it is currently analyzing whether to restart a new divestiture process in connection to Petrobras’ interests in BR Distribuidora, following the procedures under the company’s divestiture methodology, which has been reviewed and approved by the Executive Board and is in line with the guidelines by the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU).
