Rio de Janeiro, September 14, 2015 – Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras hereby announces that its Board of Directors has approved, on a meeting held today, the appointment of Director Luiz Nelson Guedes de Carvalho to perform the duties of the Chairman of this Board, during the leave of absence of Mr. Murilo Pinto de Oliveira Ferreira, granted by the Council until 30 November 2015.

The alternate of the Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, Mr. Clovis Torres Junior, also will not be taking part in the Board’s proceedings until November 30, 2015.
