Company will acquire data in the Barracuda and Caratinga fields, in the Campos Basin
DOF Subsea signed a contract with Petrobras to provide data acquisition services with AUV (autonomous underwater vehicle) in the Barracuda and Caratinga fields, in the Campos Basin.
The work in the fields, which are located in water depths ranging from 600 m to 1,350 m, is expected to begin later this year.
This week, Petrobras must receive proposals for the execution of a campaign with AUV in deep waters of the Sergipe Basin.
Among potential competitors, besides the DOF, companies such as Fugro – which is acquiring data with AUV in Libra -, Gardline, Bratexco, Petrustech and CP +.
