Rio de Janeiro, August 29, 2018 – Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. – Petrobras, following up on the press releases disclosed on 8/23/2018 and 8/27/2018, informs that the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) authorized today Paulínia Refinery (Replan) to resume production.
The resumption of operations of the unaffected units will occur safely, according to the evaluation and inspection performed by ANP and following Petrobras’ standard procedures for refining units to enter into operation.
Operations are being resumed today, and the company forecasts the regularization of the distillation unit within two days; catalytic cracking and hydrotreatment units within three days; and other unaffected units within one week. As such, 50% of the refinery’s production will be normalized within this period.
