The Tartaruga Verde field, in deep waters of the Campos Basin, is expected to reach peak natural gas production in the coming year, reaching 1.2 million m³ / day. This volume must be reached with the interconnection of all the producing wells, and only the first, produces about 200 thousand m³ / day, currently being burned.
The field produces oil and associated gas. The flow of that final volume of gas should occur through a new pipeline of 27 km, which will be interconnected to the gas network next to the Enchova concession. From there, the gas will be taken to the Cabiúnas terminal in Macaé (RJ).
The field production began on 22/6, through the FPSO Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes, with a processing capacity of up to 150,000 barrels of oil and 3.5 million m³ / day of gas, in addition to being able to compress 5 million m³ / day of gas.
The field is formed by two deposits, Tartaruga Verde, where Petrobras holds a 100% interest, and Tartaruga Mestiça, a joint stock of the Union, represented by PPSA, with a 30.65% interest, and Petrobras with 69.35% .
