Oceaneering submitted the lowest price at the Petrobras bid to contract drill pipe risers (DPR) to post-salt fields.
The company’s offer was approximately R$ 215 million, surpassing Schlumberger’s R $ 228 million bid, which came in second place.
Expro do Brasil (R $ 231 million), Weatherford (R $ 425 million) and Aker Solutions (R $ 490 million) also made proposals.
FMC Technologies (TechnipFMC), Halliburton and Oil States were invited but did not submit bids.
As published by Brasil Energia, the scope of the bidding foresees the acquisition of three systems with capacity to withstand pressures of up to 5 thousand psi, up to 2 thousand m of water depth. The duration of the contract is four years.
Petrobras has opened a new tender, now to hire five DPR systems with a capacity of 5,000 psi.
The DPR is responsible for the interconnection of the column hanger, the wet christmas tree, the tree cover and the surface installation tools.
